Assist a qualified mechanic with major repairs, progressively learn more advanced repairs, perform basic vehicle maintenance, assist with shop clean up, maintenance repairs to shop equipment, have adequate tools to assist mechanic. Workshop is one of the most fully equipped shops around with high quality tools and equipment. The work area is clean, climate controlled and safe. In the winter the shop is completely heated and in the summer the shop is completely air conditioned. This means actual air conditioning not just air circulation.

Auto Mechanic Job Description
Diagnose and properly repair vehicles, keep work area clean, fill out and follow work orders, perform state inspections, use and maintain test equipment and general shop equipment. Looking for a mature individual that is seeking a long term position with good organizational skills and the ability to multi-task. Job duties include processing incoming and outgoing phone calls, process incoming and outgoing customers and vehicles, invoicing customer repairs, paying bills, filing, ordering parts, QuickBooks experience preferred, automotive shop experience a plus. This job is better suited for someone looking for a long term position. The workspace would be a small private area with outside visibility, well equipped with new computers, monitors, printers, scanners, label machine, etc. The work area is clean, climate controlled and safe.
